Responsibilities

• Build, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Hadoop infrastructure.
• Develop tools and libraries, and maintain processes for other engineers to access data and write MapReduce programs.
• Develop documentation and playbooks to operate Hadoop infrastructure.
• Evaluate and use hosted solutions on AWS / Google Cloud / Azure. 
• Write scalable and maintainable ETLs. 
• Understand Hadoop’s security mechanisms and implement Hadoop security.
• Write software to ingest data into Hadoop.

Qualifications

• 8+ Years of experience in data warehousing architectural approaches.
• 8 years of experience in Big data(Cloudera).
• You’re familiar with HBase, Kafka, ZooKeeper, or other Apache software. 
• Exposure to and strong working knowledge of distributed systems.
• Excellent understanding of client–service models and customer orientation in service delivery.
• Ability to grasp the ‘big picture’ of a solution by considering all potential options in the impacted area.
